Menu Visibility

Only show the options and menus your clients need. None of the other stuff.

Controlling access to WordPress settings and features is a core part of handing over to clients. Some clients don’t want to touch it at all, whereas some want to do it all themselves (and a few of these probably shouldn’t!). This module allows you to choose either specific menu items or entire sections to be hidden from everyone except roles that you specify (and those with higher permissions). Replacing more complex plugins, this allows client users to have ‘admin’ access on the surface, but allows designers or agencies to restrict some features and the top-down view of the tooling they use to create a site. Use in concert with our Agency Admin module to hide menu items from Administrators.

Tidy up the admin menu and make it easier for clients to find the settings they need access to.
Hide specific menu items or entire sections from users.
Specify a role that should have menus hidden, allowing access to those with superior permissions only.
Use alongside Agency Admin to hide menus from regular administrators.
Prevent third parties getting a top-down view of your tooling.
